If you run both DayZ and something like Discord at the same time Discord can take priority from your mic and either lower the volume or outright block it To disable do the below Start Type in Control Panel Go to Sound Microphone right click on your Mic and go properties When you press the the voice button the icon appears even if your mic doesn t work I found out my mic is broken by testing them on discord or steam The icon still appears even with my mic no picking up anything
